After the resurrection, the disciples still had the wrong question. They wanted to know when Jesus was going to fix the world — when he was going to restore Israel, right the wrongs, put the right people in power. And Jesus basically said: that's not your concern. There's a different kind of power coming.

A lot of us are stuck waiting for God to show up in some specific way before we feel equipped to do anything meaningful. But the power has already arrived. The question is whether we're going to live like it.
