Finding Real Hope Through the Spirit
This week in our Hope series, we looked at how the Holy Spirit helps us find real, lasting hope—even in the middle of pain, disappointment, and uncertainty. Charlie walks us through Romans 8, showing how God’s Spirit not only plants hope in our hearts, but continues to intercede for us and guide us through life’s struggles.
Through personal stories and scripture, we’re reminded that we often look for hope in things that won’t last—like comfort, success, or quick fixes. But real hope doesn’t come from what we already have or can see. It comes from the Spirit, who points us toward the redemption and restoration that’s coming.
If you’ve ever felt like hope was hard to find, this message offers encouragement to recalibrate your heart and trust that God is working, even when you can’t see it. Join us as we discover the freedom and peace that come from putting our hope in Him.
Where are some different places where we look for hope?
What are ways the world offers false or temporary hope?
Why is hope in what we have or see not true hope?
What work has the Holy Spirit done that gives us hope? What work is he doing?
How do we tap into that hope?
